From the creative mind of Dutch designer Rogier van Zijp emerged the Cheekeyes. What started out as a turned down concept for a American toycompany in 2006, now has become a new and refreshing line of wooden, artistic toys.

It took two years to design, refine and finalise the Cheekeyes. Together with Rudi Besseling the Cheekeyes has sprung to life and and after a overwhelming response at the Nurberg Toy Fair in 2008, the Cheekeyes are now available and coming to shops near you.

There are more than 25 animals, 8 trees and 5 mountains, seperated into five unique themes: Arctic, Africa, Dino, Forest and Farm. The Cheekeyes are handmade from wood: therefore each and every Cheekeye is unique, there are no two the same.
As the Cheekeyes are a wooden product, it would be a waste to cover the fine grains of wood with paint. That's why only the contour is painted: this gives you best of both: a wooden product with fresh looking colours.
